Pretty Mosaic Collection

This stunning new collection by Prima is so versatile, as shown in the project examples below. Each artist has added their own special touches to make each one unique, while still using similar elements from the collection. Note how the fussy cutting of the floral elements are used in most of their projects to add another layer of visual interest.

The Pretty Mosaic collection is a stunning blend of mosaic designs with beautiful floral patterns. I made these cards using lots of papers and fussy cut floral designs from the collection and paired them with some gorgeous Prima flowers and ephemera.

The Pretty Mosaic collection such a bright and inspiring. I got a mixed-media altered brush in one go.

To begin, I covered it in two layers of black gesso. Impasto then added through a stencil. It showed the texture by waxes. And then, sheets from the pretty mosaic collection went into action. I cut out the printed flowers with pleasure.

Hope you also want to create something with these wonderful prints.

I really like bright and bold collections and “Pretty Mosaic” is one of them. I’m charmed by this amazing combination of mint and burgundy, but I also added here some blue shades. In this work I wanted to convey the beauty of the night city.

This is a special layout. The picture is taken a year ago in Frankfurt. My friend Terhi was taking a photo together with another friend Linda so I quickly snapped a photo of them two! I used “Pretty Mosaic” collection to capture this memory – and inspired by the name of the collection made a mosaic styled background.

I started by adding some ink to a white 12×12 to mimic the weathered seams of the tiles. Then I added the cut out tiles on top. I added a modest amount of watercolor and splashes on top of the tiles and then made the main composition using Wire thread, papers and a couple of “Pretty Mosaic” blooms.
